Lodging Options
The Inn at Twin Lakes (formerly the Shalom
Center)
Newly Renovated! The Inn is a perfect place for
a family reunion for 30-40 people. It contains a
meeting room, a lounge area for relaxation, full
kitchen and 8 “hotel style” rooms each with a
private bathroom. Bed linens are provided. |

The Lodge - aka Big Red Barn
The new South Twin Lodge
completed in 2007 offers climate controlled
housing for up to 60 people in 5 separate
“cabins”. Each cabin can be divided in half with
a temporary wall creating 10 units for families.
A spacious furnished entry area can be used as a
meeting room. Staying at the lodge is a very
comfortable way to experience camp. |

The Cottage
The Cottage is a climate controlled cabin
divided in half with 3 bunk beds and a bathroom
on each side. Handicap accessible ramps are
available for both sides of the Cottage. |

The Bungalow
A 4 room climate controlled cabin. Each room has
a bunk bed and a single bed. The Bungalow has
one central shared bathroom. |

The Tans
The cabins offer a less expensive alternative in
housing. Each cabin has space for 16 people with
2 toilets and 2 sinks. Showers are located in a
shower house nearby. All cabins are climate
controlled. |

Harvest Hall
Harvest Hall meets some long-standing
program needs with a unique design that reflects TLCC's
heritage. The siding from twenty barns was restored and
used inside Harvest Hall along with agricultural
artifacts to create an atmosphere of simplicity that is
true to TLCC's heritage. A most impressive facility. |

An actual 150 year old church and the first church
building in America of the Evangelical Covenant Church,

The Round Barn
Located on the north end of TLCC, the Charles Knapp
Round Barn is an authentic barn built in 1920. Its
unique structure offers a large meeting room upstairs
suitable for 250 people. Handicap accessible ramps are
available for the upstairs meeting room. Moved on July
12, 2003, the nationally registered Charles Knapp Round
Barn expands TLCC';s ministry in a unique way. We have
been able to preserve an historic and architectural
landmark (one of four domed "true" round barns in Iowa)
while acquiring a structure ideally suited for many
ministries and events. |

Waterfront Fun!!
TLCC is located on the shores of North Twin Lake and we
take full advantage of this with swimming, boating, and
other fun in the summer months. We offer all
skill-levels of swimmers, a 70' waterslide,
fishing, canoes, paddle boats, one-person kayaks, sail
boating, waterskiing, wakeboarding, H20 camp, soap
slide, and more! |

Winter Wonderland
In the winter when the snows fall and the lake freezes
over the waterfront takes on a whole new look with ice
skating, broomball, cross-country skiing, and sledding
down the 100' toboggan run! Guests enjoy skating on our
large smooth oval rink, and warming hands by the
“on-ice” bonfires! |

The Splattercage – Paint Ball
10 bucks gets you a Hopper of Paint and 30 minutes of
intense action! Don't Forget, The Splattercage is also
available to rent for parties, youth events, reunions,
or even that "intense" business meeting. |

The WALL!
Not just any wall! Our 30 foot INDOOR climbing wall has
something for everyone. With 6 different faces
(options), the wall is a great start for a first time
climber and will also challenge the experienced climber.
Safety harnesses and the proper belaying technique are
used. This is a camp highlight, a fun spot for youth and
school groups as well as a unique birthday party option. |
