Children's Program Coordinator
The Children's Program Assistant (CP) will carry out all
early childhood and elementary aged camper activities.
The CP will work closely with the Day Camp and Program
Coordinators. The CP is a very hands-on position,
especially for day camp, Explorer, Adventure, and family
camps.
Craft Hall Coordinator
The Crafts Hall Manager (CH) is primarily responsible
for setting up and maintaining the Craft Hall for the
summer season use. The CH will be responsible for
organizing the project kits as well as leading craft
times designated on the schedule. The CH ensures that
the craft hall is clean, orderly and ready at all times.
The CHM will also work with the Weekend Coordinator to
make sure that the Craft Hall is ready for weekend
groups.
Counselor (female/male)
The Counselors (CO) is generally responsible for the supervision
of a cabin of campers. They are the front line when
working with kids. They are expected to spend the
majority of their time with the campers throughout the
week building strong relationships and modeling the
Christian life. Counselors are expected to lead cabin
activities, devotionals, games, and assist in all
program activities.

Lifeguard
The Lifeguard (LG) is generally responsible for the
safety of guests on the waterfront. The LG works with a
team of Lifeguards and Support team members under the
supervision of the Waterfront Coordinator. Other duties:
The lifeguards are required to stay in top physical
shape throughout the summer to better keep the
waterfront a safe and fun place for TLCC guests.
Marketing/Tech Coordinator
The Marketing Assistant (MT) is primarily responsible
for taking photos and video footage the summer and makes
it available through appropriate means including our
website, Facebook and print marketing materials. The MA
will compile this footage into promotional movies and
slideshows as well as help promote camps to potential
groups and campers. The MT will also assist with Audio/Visual set
up and operation.
Program Coordinator
The Program Coordinator (PC) is responsible for taking
the lead role running camp programs and activities. The
PC will take a leadership role with the rest of the
summer staff directing and facilitating the summer
program. They will generally be responsible for leading
meal-time announcements, games, chapel sessions, and
most other thematic events.
Recreation Coordinator
The Recreation Leader (RC) is primarily responsible for
setting up and assisting with all recreational
activities that happen during week-long camp. The RC
will maintain equipment making sure that it is in good
repair, safe and properly stocked at all times. The RC
is a very hands-on position, constantly setting up,
taking down, or repairing equipment around camp as well
as interacting directly with the campers when they are
involved with recreational activities or leading games.
Support Team
Each member of this team will use their interests, gifts
and talents in a variety of ways including food service,
assistant counseling, recreation assistants, and worship
team.
Waterfront Coordinator
The Waterfront Coordinator (WC) is generally responsible
for the care and operation of TLCC’s waterfront during
the summer camping season. The WC will work very closely
with the Lifeguards and support team to maintain a safe
and fun environment for guests. The WC will take on the
supervisory role for the Life Guards assigning tasks,
generating the rotation schedule and leading physical
training exercises. It is the WC that manages the
overall operation of the waterfront and the general
health and moral of the waterfront team. The WC will
make LSA assignments and conduct training and periodic
drills.
Weekend Coordinator
The Weekend Coordinator (WE) is generally responsible
for the care and operation of TLCC’s weekend Family
Reunions and weekend groups. The WE will take a lead
role in organizing the Weekend Staff Team, coordinating
schedules and resources depending on the weekend group’s
needs. The WE will be the primary contact and host for
the families and groups and serve as a sounding board
and encourager to those groups.
Worship Leader
The Worship Leader (WL) is primarily responsible for
facilitating worship experiences throughout the summer
as well as serving as the lead role during chapel and
worship services. The WL is a position that sets the
tone of camp chapels, campfires, and staff worship
experiences. The WL will have the primary responsibility
of forming the worship band, scheduling practice time,
and facilitating the Audio/Visual setup needs for chapels and
guest group needs. |
