May 1, 2011 Sixth Annual Ice Breaker was held at the camp
The ice breaker celebrates the beginning of the lake season. Each year we gather the lake community together for a meal to talk about the bike trail. There is also an exhibit hall for local business to showcase what they offer, everything from catering to power washers.

May 15, 2011 Volunteers from First Federated Church in Des Moines
We were thrilled to have these wonderful volunteers for three days to replace siding, pour concrete, clean, trim trees, and generally give us a boost as we get our facility ready for summer.

March 1, 2011 Waterfront Update
As the earth begins to thaw we can return to the construction of the new water slide. Doug Utley, from Fort Dodge, has generously agreed to oversee this project. He recently retired from his position as the Chief of Police and brings great leadership experience to our camp project. Doug and his family attend First Covenant Church in Fort Dodge. His wife Kristen serves on the camp board. Their daughter Allie was a brave camper during Wintertainment as she took the challenge and did the Polar Plunge into the lake!
