Summer 2010: Starting Tuesday, June
1st, at Fieldstone Coffee in Harvest Hall. Our study will be Queen Esther: by Beth Moore.
Small groups will discuss weekly
lessons & questions. Large group time is spent watching
teacher Beth Moore on DVD.
Tuesdays, 9-11 am, starting June 1st.
Fieldstone Coffee in Harvest Hall
This upcoming study explores God's
providence and the hope He offers women facing
challenges in our society. Esther includes 10 video
sessions and nine weeks of personal study. Beth Moore
explains how God placed a young Jewish woman who
fulfilled her destiny "for such a time as this” and
saved the Jews living in a pagan culture from certain
destruction. Esther, though a queen, lived as an
outsider in a hostile environment. Her life offers an
example for today's woman who finds it difficult to live
in someone else's shadow, to see physical beauty take
precedence over character, to face life-altering
decisions, to move from self-preservation to brave
determination, and to see mean-spirited people prevail.
You will learn strong lessons of faith that will equip
you to live a courageous life.

August 7, 2010 is the date for the 4th
annual Twin Lakes Half-Olympic Triathlon Championship.
More information can be found at:
www.twinlakestri.com.
Swede Bend Summer Worship:
Swede Bend Summer Worship is a weekly worship service in
the historic chapel on the property of Twin Lakes
Christian Center. Services are held annually, from
Memorial Day to Labor Day from 8:30-9:15 am. A time of
fellowship, coffee and treats follow.
Camp summer staff lead the kids in a mini-lesson time
that includes a Bible story, games, and an occasional
craft.
The chapel was moved to the camp
years ago and was the first Covenant Church in America
when the Swedish Immigrants came in the 1800’s.
Everyone is welcome!
