Quilting Retreats

Retreats designed for anyone interested in quilting.  Whether you are a first-time or long-time quilter, you will enjoy helpful instruction, good conversation, and a chance to be creative without interruption.

TLCC's Staff along with instructor Pam Kuehl, provide a relaxing and creative atmosphere where relationships will be as fruitful as the sewing.  You may choose to bring your own project or hobby or follow the instruction of Pam as she works with the group on the featured quilt.  Fabric and additional quilting supplies are available for purchase from the retreat store.

In addition to lodging in comfortable rooms, TLCC provides sewing space and six delicious meals all while also providing opportunities for spiritual renewal which can help you connect with God.

As an added bonus, a massage therapist will be present to ease your tension and refresh your spirit.  Advance sign up will be available on a first-come basis, but walk-ins are welcome as the schedule permits.

Our Instructor

Pam Kuehl has been teaching at TLCC quilting retreats since 1990.  She works part-time at Prairie Star Quilts in Elk Horn, IA, where she has developed her own line of patterns, called Patchworks.  Pam will take you step by step through the pattern featured at the retreat.  She is also available to advise you on quilting topics, if needed.  Her instruction assumes general sewing knowledge.
