Young teens will experience a full week of over-the-top camp life at our well-kept and clean Facilities. Favorite activities always include the 30-foot climbing wall, The Splatter Cage (paintball), The Mud Pit, and the MANY great water activities our lake allows us to enjoy. There is plenty of time to hang out with friends too. Chapel services are high energy with relevant worship and challenging speakers. If you ask our opinion, this is the week not to miss! Be sure to also check out the Activities and Prepare 4 Camp sections of our website!
Camp Electives available to Challenge campers:
Think of Camp Electives as a way to customize your camp experience. Electives are optional, and allow you to focus some of your free-time on specialized interests. Sign up for electives when registering!
H2O: If you love water sports (wakeboarding, water skiing, etc.), then get signed up! What to expect: early morning ski time, free-time sessions with personalized instruction. This elective is designed to elevate your performance.
Rough-it: If cooking over an open fire and sleeping outside sounds like “the way camp is supposed to be,” then Rough-it is for you. You can expect: a night or two in Rough-it Village (old cabins), outdoor cooking over an open fire, nature & survival skills education, hard work, slight discomfort & adventure!
Dare to Be a Daniel (D2BD): If you want to learn how to effectively share your faith, then this course is for you. During part of free time each day, you will go through the Dare to Be a Daniel course. This curriculum was developed specifically for camps by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. We were one of the first camps in the country to test this in 2010! It is an excellent program and we are pleased to offer it again.
"As a mom, it’s important to know my kids will have an excellent camp experience. . . I want to hear and SEE that they encountered God’s love in a life changing way. My kids come home with all of that, and more! Camp at Twin Lakes continues to be a priority on our summer ‘to do’ list."
